Data Storage & Security
We implement enterprise-grade measures to protect your information:
- Authentication: Handled securely via Firebase Auth with industry-standard encryption
- Database: Metadata and notes are stored in Supabase with Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Cloud Storage: Your book files (EPUB/PDF) are synced to your personal Google Drive. We only access the dedicated "BookWorm_Library" folder
- Local Storage: Your AI API keys are stored exclusively in your device's Secure Enclave and are never transmitted to our servers

Third-Party Services
We utilize trusted providers to deliver premium features:
- AI Services: Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Claude for content analysis. No personally identifiable information is shared with these models
- Neural Narration: ElevenLabs provides high-quality text-to-speech services
- Analytics: Firebase Analytics for crash logs and app performance diagnostics
