Why we built it
A spec lives in one app, its numbers in another, the diagram in a browser tab, the API you're describing in a fourth tool, and the AI that could help is in a fifth — with none of them able to see each other.
Zenith puts the everyday tools in one window that shares one search, one recent list and one assistant. Open a document, and the assistant already knows what's in it. Switch to the board, and your doc is a click away in the sidebar.
It's not trying to be the biggest suite. It's trying to be the one you leave open.
What's inside
Each one is focused and fast. Together they cover the day.
Letters, reports and specs with headings, lists, tables and images. Opens and saves .docx.
Formulas, formatting and fills. Opens .xlsx and CSV, every sheet in the workbook.
Build and present decks full-screen. Imports .pptx slides with their text.
Highlight, draw, add notes, reorder, rotate, merge and extract pages — then export a clean PDF.
An assistant that works with the document in front of you, on the model you choose.
Notepad-simple plain text. Nothing to configure, nothing in the way.
A Notepad++-style code editor with syntax highlighting for the snippets you keep around.
OneNote-style notebooks with sections and pages for research and meeting notes.
Kanban boards with drag and drop. Plan the sprint next to the spec it delivers.
An API client with collections, environments and history. Send the request, read the response.
Markdown files with a live preview, side by side. Opens your existing .md files.
Flowcharts with many shapes, colours and connectors, plus automation to lay them out for you.
Your files
Drop a Word document, an Excel workbook, a PowerPoint deck or a PDF onto the window and it opens
in the right app — formatting, formulas and pages intact. When you're done, save it back as
.docx, .xlsx or .pdf and send it on.
Local first
Everything is saved to ~/Documents/Zenith Workspace. Back it up with Time Machine, sync it with iCloud, or copy it to a USB stick.
Write, calculate, annotate and plan on a plane. Nothing in the core apps needs a connection.
Download and go. An account is only for the browser version, when you want to work from another machine.
AI, on your terms
Ask it to summarise the PDF, tighten the paragraph, explain the formula or draft the reply. It sees what you're working on — and only when you ask.
No splash screen, no loading spinner, no sign-in wall. It opens to your work.
No badges, no feeds, no notifications. Calm surfaces and type that's easy to read for hours.
Every release is checked by more than 150 automated tests that click through the real app.
Pricing
Everything you see here is in the free download. Early users keep their price when paid plans arrive.

Cloud & teams
Yes. The Mac app is free during early access, with every app included. When paid plans arrive they'll be for cloud sync and teams — not for features you already use.
Yes — .docx, .xlsx, .xlsm and .pptx, plus PDF, CSV, Markdown and plain text. Older binary formats (.doc, .xls, .ppt) need to be re-saved in the modern format first.
On your Mac, in ~/Documents/Zenith Workspace. They're yours to back up, move or delete. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to use the web version.
No. The apps work fully without AI. If you want the assistant, add a key from the provider you already use, or use Apple Intelligence on supported Macs.
During early access the app isn't notarised yet. Right-click the app in Applications and choose Open the first time — macOS will remember your choice.
Not yet. In the meantime, the browser version runs anywhere — log in here.
Free for Mac. About a minute to install.
